Comparative Politics (CP) and International Relations (IR) were my two fields of focus during my Ph.D. program. Based on my Ph.D. coursework and areas of research, I am prepared to teach introductory CP and IR seminars as well as courses on international security, political violence, civil wars, transnational terrorism, U.S. national security, gender and conflict, proxy warfare, conflict resolution, and courses on the Middle East and North Africa.
Prior to pursuing my Ph.D., I completed graduate programs in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and Arab Studies. I'm excited to teach classes on Comparative Politics of the Middle East, International Relations of the Middle East, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Syrian civil war, and U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.
